Doug has over 45 years of healthcare leadership experience delivering financial and clinical transformation to clients throughout the country. He is an expert in Revenue Cycle and Vendor Management. Doug has led operational and financial teams focused on performance improvement while serving in senior leadership roles for large international financial services firms, large outsourcing firms, and in several large and small health systems and hospitals. Doug has helped providers achieve success across the US, including numerous financially distressed organizations.
Prior to forming Healthcare Advanced Revenue Strategies, he served as a Principal for an international accounting firm, as President for one of the largest healthcare outsourcing firms, as Vice President over revenue cycle operations for several large health systems, and Doug was with a Big 4 accounting firm for over ten years, where he served as a Director of Healthcare Advisory Services.
Chantelle Venter
Partner
Chantelle has over 30 years of healthcare financial experience, serving in the role of a "turn-around" CFO serving in both permanent and interim roles. She is an expert in Vendor Management, Strategy, Finance, Contracting and Revenue Cycle. In addition to her skills in finance, Chantelle brings clinical and project management expertise to our clients. Chantelle manages our recruitment arm, all interim executive staffing engagements, and she provides RCM outsourcing clients with senior level oversight from the point of contracting to go-live.

Steve Friedman
Partner - Revenue Cycle Optimization and Outsourcing
Steve's career of over 40 years has been split between Big 4 Firms where he provided RCM Consulting to hundreds of hospitals, and working for health systems where he served in the roles of Vice President for Revenue Cycle, and Vice President of Vendor Management. His past includes small to mid-size hospitals, several large health systems, and a two-year interim Director of Revenue Cycle role for one of the largest hospitals in the US. Steve is highly skilled at performing assessments, developing and managing action plans, and providing hospitals with the knowledge they need to get the highest return from their vendors at an optimal price.
